Decorators/Designers

Join us in transforming the Queensbury Hotel into a spectacular holiday market by decorating trees, wreaths, wooden discs/plaques and other items for the 35th Annual North Country Festival of Trees presented by Beacon Bank!

The festival will once again be a boutique experience, where guests can browse and purchase beautifully decorated holiday items including:

• Christmas trees (6′, 4.5′, 18″)
• Wreaths (24″)
• Round wood disks/plaques (18″)
• Centerpieces, stockings, festive hats, gingerbread houses, and more

Decorator/designer pick up information

Pick up of trees, wreaths and discs/plaques will begin on Tuesday, September 1^st, 133 Aviation Road, Queensbury. To make arrangements to pick up or if you are entering an item that doesn’t need to be picked up please contact Elisabeth Scheu at 518-944-2107 or Elisabeth.scheu@cfdsny.org to let her know, so we have record of your item when you drop it off at the hotel.

Decorating guidelines

We encourage all participants to stay within a Christmas or holiday theme, as these are always more popular with buyers. Lights are required on all trees and wreaths. Creativity is encouraged!

Drop off and judging

All decorated items must be dropped off at the Queensbury Hotel, at the following times in order to be included in the festival:

• Sunday, November 22^nd from 12 pm – 4 pm
• Monday, November 23^rd from 3 pm – 8 pm
• Tuesday, November 24^th from 9 am – 3 pm

Judging will occur on the evening of Tuesday, November 25th  for the following categories:

• -Overall Best in Show
• -Best Adult 
• -Best Child

Ribbons will be displayed next to the winning items and decorators will be notified.
