Help us turn the Queensbury Hotel into a spectacular holiday market by decorating items for the Festival of Trees event!

 

The festival will once again be a boutique expierence, where guest can browse and purchase beautifully deocrated holiday items including:

-Christmas trees (6', 4.5', 18")

-Wreaths (24")

-Kissing balls (8")

-Artifical christmas swags

-Round wood disks/plaques (18")

-Centerpieces, stockings, festive hats, gingerbreak houses, and more

 

Decorator/designer pick up information

Pick up of undecorated items has begun at Prospect Center, 133 Aviation Road, Queensbury. To make arangments to pick up please contact Kim Heunemann at 518-742-0101. If you will be entering an item you do not need to pick up, please email Kim heunemann@cfdsny.org to let her know, so we have record of your item when you drop it off at the hotel.

 

Decorating guidelines

We encourage all participants to stay within a Christmas or holiday theme, as these are always more popular with buyers. Lights are required on all trees and wreaths. Ceativity is encouraged!

 

Drop off and judging

All decorated items must be dropped off at the Queensbury Hotel, at the following times in order to be included in the festival:

Sunday, November 23rd from12:00pm – 4:00 pm

Monday, November 24th from 3:00pm – 8:00 pm

Tuesday, November 25th from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm

 

Judging will occur on the evening of Tuesday, November 25th  for the following categories:

-Overall Best in Show

-Best Adult 

-Best Child

 

Ribbons will be displayed next to the winning items and decorators will be notified.
