Update on Psychiatric Services at CFDS

The Center for Disability Services (CFDS) plans to discontinue psychiatry services at Center Health Care on December 31, 2025. We are working with community partners to identify options for continued care and support.

This change impacts only psychiatry services. Other Center Health Care services such as Primary Care, Audiology, Dental, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, and Vocational Rehabilitation are NOT impacted by this change and will continue.

The circumstances of current psychiatry patients vary, so CFDS is communicating with them as follows:

  • Patients who live in CFDS-operated residential programs.
  • Patients who live in residential programs operated by the state or other provider.
  • Patients living independently in the community.

Please see below for more information applicable to you or your loved one.

If you need assistance transferring your clinical records to a new psychiatry provider, please see the information sheet below on how to contact Center Health Care’s medical records department.
