Aquatics Program

At the Center for Disability Services, we know it’s important to be proactive in creating and maintaining the best possible health – and that’s why finding an activity you enjoy is key to sticking with a healthy exercise routine. The Center has a large, indoor therapeutic swimming pool. Our pool is fully accessible, with wide steps, a built-in ramp with railings for a gradual entry and exit and a maximum depth is 4’11”. Our pool is maintained at 96 degrees for comfort.
Our Aquatics program includes
- Aquatics Exploration Program
- Aquatic Therapy for those with Developmental Disabilities
- Jacuzzi to enhance the therapeutic experience
- Open Swim to public ($10 per day or $55 per month memberships)
- Early Bird Hours: Monday – Thursday: 6:30 am to 8:15 am
- Afternoon Hours: Monday – Friday: 11:15 am to 1 pm
More About Aquatic Exploration:
Our Aquatic Exploration Program is designed to introduce participants to the water in a fun, engaging, and low-pressure environment. Through guided activities, sensory experiences and developmentally-appropriate aquatic activities, participants can develop foundational aquatic skills at their own pace in a safe and welcoming environment. This is offered as a private experience with a one-to-one adult with experience and training with people with disabilities of all ages. This program is open to the public for people with or without disabilities, ages 3 and up.
Cost: $30 per 20-Minute Session
Offered Monday-Friday 9am-2pm
