Meet the Camp Director
Corwin Sullivan-Rocha
As Director, my mission is to preserve the spirit and legacy that Karen Eustice envisioned for Clover Patch Camp back in the ‘60s, while also creating space for new memories and growth. I am here to travel alongside every camper, celebrating the joy, independence, and lasting impact they bring.
The 2026 season will be my first full year with the Center for Disability Services, and I couldn’t be more excited. Before joining Clover Patch, I spent over ten years working with neurodivergent students in California, both in classrooms and in community programs while also earning my Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies: Multiple Subject Teaching from Brandman University in 2019.
What’s your favorite part about working at Clover Patch Camp?
I think learning about the history of Clover Patch Camp and how far it has come. It makes it more whole to me. I have some big shoes to fill from all of the past directors.
If you could only pack three things for camp, what would they be?
I would bring whatever book I am currently reading at the time, bug spray, and my German shepherd, Kenobi.
Do you have a favorite hobby outside of camp?
I was so excited to learn this past summer at Camp Spectacular that so many campers and their families play Dungeons and Dragons. It is my longest running hobby and I don’t see an end in sight.
What’s your favorite spot at camp?
My favorite spot down at camp would probably be the campfire. I really enjoy being so close to the Alplaus Creek while we enjoy our s’mores and campfire activities.
What advice would you give to a camper coming for the very first time?
My advice to a first-time camper would be: come ready to try new things and meet new friends! It’s completely normal to feel a little nervous at first, but remember—you’re not alone. Every camper and counselor is here to support you, cheer you on, and share in the fun. By the end of the week, you’ll be surprised at how quickly camp begins to feel like home.
What camp tradition or activity are you excited to bring back?
The activity that I have thought of the most to bring back to camp would be to reopen the nature trail around the campground. I have not been able to explore it yet, but having our own private trail again could allow for even more fun.
