In 1942, a small group of parents came together to secure medical consultations and home-based therapy for their children with Cerebral Palsy. These parents formed The Cerebral Palsy Association of the Capital District, Inc., which has grown from a tiny nursery school into today’s Center for Disability Services Inc., a leading provider of innovative programs, services and expert care for individuals with disabilities at any stage in life.

Many factors have come together since 1942 to lead us to where we are today, but the support of the community and donors like you have been instrumental to this growth.

And, while the world has changed in the past 80 years, our mission and commitment to supporting individuals with disabilities and their families have remained steadfast.
