HII Tech (Health Innovations Incubator & Technology Center)

Empowering innovations to turn healthcare ideas into real devices HII Tech is the R&D and commercialization hub of the Center for Disability Services, located in Watervliet, NY. We discover unmet needs in care and transform them into practical health-tech and assistive devices that improve independence, safety, and quality of life for people with disabilities and older adults.

Combining in-house prototyping and fabrication with engineers, fellows, and student researchers from leading Capital Region institutions, HII Tech provides an end-to-end path from problem discovery to validated products ready for deployment in real-world care environments.
