Burbridge School In Western Australia Dedicated As A Move Model Site On March 10, 2023

Burbridge School is the second MOVE Model Site in Australia. Becoming a MOVE Model Site is not an easy endeavor. It requires that a school/agency utilizes the MOVE Program at an exceptional level. When you enter Burbridge School you can see the love for the students, the energy of the staff, the happiness of the students, and most important - you can see that everyone is dedicated to empowering the students to achieve their highest level of success. The charge to become a MOVE Model Site was led by Selvarani Bird and highly supported by their principal, Joanne Gordon. However, the MOVE Program only works if you have all staff on board and the cooperation of the families. 

 

At their dedication, several parents spoke of the achievements their children have made by using the MOVE Program and the dedication of the staff. The highlight though was when one of the students saw his mom speaking at the front of the room and ran up to give her a hug. This is what MOVE is all about.
